Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 22, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy defines the rules governing the use of Fentria Systems LLC's communication services. By using our Services, you agree to comply with this policy, which helps us protect our network and the broader telecommunications community from abuse.
1. Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and restrictions that govern the use of Fentria Systems LLC's VoIP, cloud PBX, SIP trunking, and related communication services (the "Services"). This AUP is designed to protect our network, our customers, and the broader telecommunications ecosystem from harmful, unlawful, or abusive activity. It applies to all customers, users, and resellers of our Services and is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions and service agreements.
2. Lawful Use Only
You may use our Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You are solely responsible for the content and traffic that originates from your account, your numbers, and your connected endpoints.
3. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited. Engaging in any of them may result in immediate suspension or termination of your Services without refund, and may expose you to legal liability.
- •Using the Services to transmit unsolicited calls or messages, including robocalls and spam, in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, or any equivalent law.
- •Engaging in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading calling practices, including caller ID spoofing intended to defraud or cause harm.
- •Using the Services for any illegal or malicious purpose, including the transmission of threats, harassment, or abusive content.
- •Initating calls to emergency services (E911) for non-emergency purposes or testing emergency routing without authorization.
- •Using the Services to facilitate the sale or distribution of illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, or other prohibited items.
- •Engaging in any form of telecommunications fraud, including toll fraud, subscription fraud, or traffic pumping.
4. Network and System Integrity
You may not interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity or security of our network, systems, or the services provided to other customers. The following actions are prohibited:
- •Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, networks, customer data, or any third-party systems via our network.
- •Introducing viruses, worms, malware, or any other malicious code into our network or through our Services.
- •Scanning, probing, or testing the vulnerability of our systems or any third-party system without authorization.
- •Circumventing or attempting to circumvent any authentication, security, or access-control measure.
- •Overloading, flooding, or otherwise impairing the proper functioning of our infrastructure, including denial-of-service activity.
- •Using our Services in a manner that degrades network performance or the experience of other customers.
5. Caller ID and Number Usage
You must use accurate and authorized caller identification for all calls placed through our Services. Caller ID spoofing is prohibited except where permitted by law for legitimate business purposes. You must only use telephone numbers assigned to you by Fentria or that you have ported to our Services with proper authorization. You are responsible for ensuring that all numbers used comply with applicable numbering plan and regulatory requirements.
6. Consent and Telemarketing
If you use our Services for telemarketing, automated messaging, or any form of outreach that requires consent, you are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid, documented consent from each recipient in accordance with all applicable laws, including the TCPA. You must honor do-not-call requests and maintain internal do-not-call lists as required by law. Fentria is not responsible for your compliance with telemarketing regulations.
7. Emergency Services (E911)
Our Services support E911 emergency calling where required by law. You are responsible for registering and keeping current the registered service address for each user, as an outdated or incorrect address may delay or misdirect emergency response. You must inform all end-users of the limitations of E911 service, including the inability to place E911 calls during a power or internet outage. Fentria is not liable for delays or failures in emergency response caused by inaccurate registration information or network conditions outside our control.
8. Resale and Third-Party Use
You may not resell, sublicense, or otherwise provide our Services to third parties without our prior written authorization. Authorized resellers remain responsible for the conduct of their end-users and for ensuring compliance with this AUP throughout their downstream customer base.
9. Content and Privacy
You retain all rights to the content you transmit using our Services. You agree not to use our Services to transmit content that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party. You are responsible for complying with all applicable data protection and privacy laws with respect to any personal data you collect, process, or store through your use of our Services, including call recordings.
10. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP and to take action we deem appropriate, including issuing warnings, suspending or terminating Services, blocking traffic, and reporting violations to law enforcement. We may cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities in investigating and prosecuting violations. We are not liable for any damages resulting from our enforcement of this AUP.
11. Reporting Violations
To report a violation of this AUP or suspicious activity involving our Services, please contact our abuse team at care@fentria.com. We encourage customers and third parties to report abuse promptly so we can take appropriate action to protect our network and users.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP at any time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our Services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised AUP. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically.
